2 DIYs That You Can Make With Popsicle Sticks

I'm going to show you two DIYs that you can make with Popsicle sticks and I'll be showing you how to make a earring holder with Popsicle sticks and a how to make a hexagon shelf with Popsicle sticks. These Popsicle sticks DIY ideas are really easy to make and they both make cute DIY room decor ideas and cute DIY organization ideas.

DIY Earring Holder

The first idea I'm going to show you how to make is this miniature earring holder.

What you will need for this DIY

Popsicle sticks
glue gun
paint
paintbrush.

You want to take nine Popsicle sticks and paint five of them one color and the other four another color or you don't have to paint them at all.

When the Popsicle sticks are dry you want to make the legs first by placing one of the five Popsicle sticks down flat and put a small drop of glue at both ends of the Popsicle stick with a glue gun or any type of glue will work.

Then you want to take two out of the other four Popsicle sticks and place both of the sticks in the glue and at a angle so both sticks are touching each other.

When the glue has dried you want to put some glue at the top one of those Popsicle sticks and hold both of the Popsicle sticks together.

Now you want to do the same thing to the other side.

When you get both sides done you want to take the other sticks that you have left and put glue on both ends of the stick and glue them to the legs. Make sure these are straight because you won't be able to fix it later.

You can put some more sticks on the back if you want and you can paint it as many colors you want.

Something that I forgot to do was to paint the sides of the Popsicle sticks so I had to paint them again so don't forget to paint the sides of the Popsicle sticks and if you do forget to paint them you can paint them while the earring holder structure is together like how I'm doing here but be very careful so you don't get different colors of paint on the other Popsicle sticks.

Now it's finished and you can put earrings with the hooks onto it and if you happen to have ones with no hooks and if you still have it you can use the cardboard thing that is comes with when you buy it and hang them onto the stick with that.

DIY Hexagon Shelf

For the last idea I'm going to show you how to make this hexagon shelf.

What you will need for this DIY

Popsicle sticks
glue gun

You want to take your Popsicle sticks and shape them into a hexagon and then you want to glue them together by putting glue on the ends of the Popsicle sticks and putting them together like how I'm doing here.

To make more layers you just keep gluing Popsicle sticks around the base of the hexagon about ten or more times or until you like how it looks.

If you want you can paint this any color that you want and you can either hang it on a wall or place it on your desk.
