Hello! Today, I'm going to show you how to make over twenty DIY Christmas ornaments. In the comments down below let me know what you think about these ornaments and which one is your favorite.
Let's get started!
1 DIY Popsicle Stick Sleigh Ornament
The first ornament I'm going to show you how to make a sleigh ornament. This DIY Popsicle stick sleigh ornament looks really cute and can be any color. You need about seven Popsicle sticks and you need to paint five of them one color for the top of the sleigh and two of them for the runner on the bottom part of the sleigh another color.
When the Popsicle sticks are all dry, you want to take a Popsicle stick and cut it down to the same size as the top part of the sleigh with wire cutters. Then glue it onto the back of the sticks with a glue gun.
Put some glue onto the edge of the Popsicle stick you just cut and place one of the sticks for the runners into the glue with a glue gun. Then do it again on the other side.
You can put glue on the sides of the runners to help keep it in place.
Take a piece of string and tie a loop. Then glue it to the bottom of the sleigh with a glue gun.
If you want you can glue a jewel on the top of the sleigh. Instead of a jewel, you can glue a bell on it instead.
2 DIY Sock Ornament
This DIY sock ornament looks really cute and it can be any size or color you would like.
For this sock ornament, you want to start off by drawing and cutting a sock out of red fleece fabric or you could use another color.
After cutting it out, trace the top part of the sock onto white fabric and cut out a rectangle.
Then glue the white rectangle onto the sock and after that glue a jewel onto the white rectangle.
The last thing you have to do is tie a loop with a piece of string and glue it to the back of the sock with a glue gun. You can also keep off the jewel if you don't want it.
3 DIY Salt Dough Ornaments
What you will need to make these salt dough ornaments is a bowl, a spoon, 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of salt, 1/2 cup of water, parchment paper, a rolling pin, a baking pan, a straw, and cookie cutters.
To make the dough, start off by putting the flour, the salt, and the water into the bowl and stir until combined.
Now you can place the cookie cutters into the dough and make many different designs. You can put a smaller shape inside the bigger shapes and take the smaller shape out to have a ornament with a hole that could be in a shape of something like a moon or a star in the middle.
Remove the dough around the ornaments and roll the extra dough into a ball and roll it out again and make more shapes.
Then you want to move the ornaments onto a pan. If you made some with shapes cut out in the middle, take a spatula and slowly move the ornament onto a spatula.
Then take a straw and put it into the dough so there can be a string so the ornament can hang on a tree.
You can also use a toothpick for the smaller ornaments but make sure you make a big enough hole.
Now you can draw and paint your ornaments and you can draw designs on with a permanent marker or paint on the designs with a paintbrush. When the paint is wet you can sprinkle on glitter. I left some of them white because they look like snowballs.
When they are dry, you can put string or twine through the holes and tie a loop. For the ornaments with smaller holes you can put a toothpick through the hole to put small pieces out of the way that are blocking the hole.

Take the Popsicle stick that will be in the back and put a drop of glue with the glue gun in the middle of the stick. Then put the second stick on top of that one. You should have a "X" shape now.
Then take the third stick and glue it again to the middle but at a angle on the second Popsicle stick and not the same as the first stick.
If you want you can glue a button or something in the middle of the stick.
5 DIY Pinecone Ornament
For this pinecone ornament, you want to paint the pinecone white or another color and while it's still wet sprinkle some glitter onto the pinecone and wait for it to dry.

Then punch a hole onto the top of the picture and then tie some ribbon into a loop through the hole on the picture.
7 DIY Candy Cane Ornaments
All you have to do is take a real candy cane and tie a loop with some string onto the candy cane.
8 DIY Wood Slice Ornaments
All you have to do cut some wood into slices or buy pre cut slices of wood. Then put a hole into it near the top with a electric drill and after that you want to sand the wood slices.
Then you can draw and paint in a design on the wood slices. You can also use a permanent marker.
When your wood slices are dry, take some twine and tie a loop through the hole so the ornaments can be hung on the tree.
9 DIY Perler Bead Ornament
For this DIY, you use perler beads and make any shape you want on a peg board. I used a butterfly pegboard and used some pink clear beads to add some color to the butterfly. The clear beads will show light that's behind them and make sure you leave one peg with no bead.
When your done with your design, put parchment paper over it and iron it until the beads are connected. Make sure you check iron is around medium heat before you iron so you don't over melt the beads.
Tie a loop through that you left open with a piece of string.
