This DIY geometric room decor idea is perfect for any room and it looks really cute no matter what size this DIY terrarium is.
Here's the video version of this DIY:
What you will need for this DIY is plastic, paint, a permanent marker, a pencil, a paintbrush, scissors, painters tape, a glue gun and a template.
The first thing you want to do is to print or make a template yourself. I made my template to be at about three inches but that ended up being up really really small for this terrarium so I recommend making it like five inches or more but you could make it any size that you want.
If you want to make another shaped terrarium you will need to make the shapes that you will need for the terrarium that you are going to make.
Then you want to place the template under the plastic and trace the template onto the plastic with the permanent marker and then you want to cut out all the shapes that you need. For the terrarium that I'm making you will need three triangle and a trapezoid.
To make the trapezoid just trace over half of the triangle template like how I'm doing here.
Now you want to tape the terrarium together and if you need to you can trim down the pieces.
The final thing you have to do is paint the edges with glue any color that you want. I painted the edges on mine copper.
Now you can put what ever you would like into the terrarium. You can put flowers or lights into it.
