Welcome to another tour of my Christmas home! I'm excited to join Marty from A Stroll Thru Life and 29 other bloggers this week and share our Christmas homes with you all! This year I went a different direction that I thought. I was planning on doing red in the living room and neutral in the dining room and it totally got swapped! I like to call this my woodland themed Christmas...minus all the animals :) Well, I guess I have a few animals hiding in there. If you are stopping by Design Post Interiors, welcome! Isn't Beth's home gorgeous?! I just can't get enough of her style! And if you a new here, you can check out my other two Christmas tours here: Part 1 and Part 2. I've been decorating for Christmas for a month now and still can't believe it's just around the corner! I need to seriously soak myself in hot chocolate and watch Christmas movies nonstop for the next week to make sure I can get in the spirit soon! I hate when I can't get into the feel of Christmas and then it passes, and I'm like...whhhaaat? That happens almost every other year and it feels like this year might be one of those years. So, if you don't here from me for awhile...you'll know why ;) #hotchocolatebath
First up on today's tour is my living room! This is where we spend 95% of our time, so it's all about comfort in here. Which means, lots of blankets and even more pillows! I seriously didn't know how many blankets I had in here until I started editing the pictures.

This year's Christmas tree is pretty much just like last years with a few small changes. I figure, even if you're a blogger and you like something, why change it? I hate reinventing the wheel every year and just buying more and more stuff when I have perfectly good things right in my house. So, I kept it easy and just duplicated :) This corner was kept pretty simple, just added a little Christmas tree to the table and changed out the pillow.
I also kept the mantel pretty similar to last year, just added some cute white wood trees in the middle instead.
I just love the look of these frosted berries and branches. As for the stockings, the three white ones are new this year from Target and the middle ones were made from old sweaters.
I wanted to add some red in here since red jumps off all the white beautifully, but used up all my red decor in my other rooms. So, I went with a neutral feel with plaids.

I am so glad I added this corner of board and batten to this room earlier this year. Hopefully I'll get around to adding more this upcoming year :)For my ottoman, I added some yummy scented pine cones to the lantern, and switched out my normal flowers for this cute little frosted tree.
I bought a couple of these cute reindeer pillows last year and totally forgot about them until I went through my pillow hoard. I love how it fits so perfectly in here. It was the perfect addition!
And on the sofa table, it just got a few additions of some pine cones and wire brush trees.
Now on to my dining room. This room ended up looking way different than I ever thought it would. If you told me two years ago that I would have this much color in my house, I would have laughed. But, it feels so right...and I love it!

I did a lot of texture in here with pine cones, galvanized metal, linens and grass clothe braided place mats.
This blanket is my new favorite! It added the perfect extra touch.
Winter to me is all about layers, so I added some faux fur onto the bench and layered it with pillows. I got these covers from Amazon and LOVE them. You'll notice I have them all over my house this Season :)
Here's a closer view of the tablescape. I bought this metal box from Hobby Lobby and just threw three trees in it. I then added my lanterns and some pine cones.
I kept the place settings the same as I did for my late Fall tour since I only had them for like a week before Thanksgiving. So, they needed more use :) Plus, they transitioned perfect into Christmas.
To go along with the whole woodland theme, I threw this pine cone and berry garland onto my chandelier.
Now, if I can only keep this table looking this good in every day life! Ha! :)
I hope you enjoyed the tour!
